The International Rescue Committee (IRC), with funding from Islamic Relief USA and in partnership with Al-Mesalla, and with the participation of Al-Waleed Relief and Human Development Organization, represented by its president, Mr. Omar Al-Waleed, conducted a series of training sessions targeting civil society organizations (CSOs) and local community actors directly or indirectly involved in climate change-related work.
This training included youth-led organizations and focused on climate risk mapping, scenario planning, and developing local adaptation strategies.
The IRC conducted these training sessions in Anbar, Ninewa, and Maysan.
